2023 Grant Summary Report

In 2023, the Just Transition Fund awarded nearly $5 million in grants to:

Ensure that coal communities are able to successfully apply for federal investment in community-led diversification, workforce development, and broadband projects. We provided grants and technical assistance to support these projects through our Federal Access Center.

Advance transition policy efforts at the state and federal level to advocate for policies that create economic opportunity for coal-impacted communities and workers.
